Veggie and Sausage Quiche
People.....this recipe is so easy. And my gals totally dug it.
Applegate chicken sausage (or any you prefer)
Any veggie you'd like in your quiche.......asparagus, broccoli, cauliflower, onions, carrots, etc........
Enough grapeseed oil (or coconut or olive) to cover your pan
6 eggs (or more if you prefer)
Goat or sheep cheese (however much you like!)
Dash of sea salt
Pepper
Prebaked Paleo pie crust (find it here. Omit the honey for this pie crust recipe)
If you prefer not to use a pie crust, just add a few more eggs to cover all the veggies and give your baking pan a bit more oil.
Cook all sausage through and sautee veggies in grapeseed oil over medium heat. Just a few minutes so they don't wilt or get too soft. Wisk your eggs in a large bowl then add cut up sausages, veggies, cheese, salt and pepper. Pour into your pie crust and cook at 350 for about 30-45 minutes, depending on your stove. Just keep checking it. When the eggs are firm, it's all set!! Great for any meal of the day.
