This is so super delicious and easy. My girls beg for it in their lunches every week! And this recipe could easily be altered to veggie chili by deleting the meat and upping the veggies!
1 pound grass fed ground beef
1 jar organic spaghetti sauce (we use Newmans Own)
1 chopped onion
1 chopped red pepper
1 chopped yellow pepper
1 cup chopped carrots (more or less)
Chili powder (or another organic taco seasonings. We use 'organics' brand so long as there is no xanthum gum in the ingredients)
Garlic to taste
This is a piece of cake. Brown your meat and transfer to a pot. Add the spaghetti sauce and all other ingredients and cook over medium heat about 20 minutes. You want the veggies to stay on the crisp side to preserve the good stuff in them. Keep tasting and adding chili powder and garlic to your liking. Viola. Done.
