I tried to find a verse that I thought correlated with the painting without making it just a 'story' or some silly cliche. I wanted more of 'make you think' kind of thing. But since I've never been accused of being much of a deep thinker....this was a bit out of my element. Take a look.
Since this line is totally new, I'd love some feedback. I get excited doing new things but nervous because just because I like them, that doesn't mean other people will, too. And that kind of defeats the purpose when using scripture. Constructive criticism is greatly appreciated!

I love your paintings. Scripture or no scripture, you have a nice way of painting. You are not preaching...you are expressing yourself. there is a big difference.

Your paintings evoke deep emotion and thought...it seems that you set out to depict what you see in your minds eye and heart and you end up inspiring and teaching! I received my third print today and I am blown away by the power of this new Nativity you've created! In this and all your other sacred paintings that I have seen, I have felt tenderness, compassion, humility,guidance and fellowship...all wrapped up in visual splendor! The addition of scripture to these in no way diminishes the power of the vision. I think they give voice to the admiring observer who is too timid to speculate what the vision means to you and could mean to herself.
