Sick.....who me???

I refuse to be sick.  I also refuse to believe that some illnesses have no treatment.  Such as....mono.  Yes, I was just told, via bloodwork, that I have mono.  What????  Don't you get that from kissing your middle school boyfriend??  And I was told to rest....and that is all.  No treatment?  Poo.  I can't believe God would allow any illness to be on earth without giving us a treatment for it.  It's just a matter of finding it and I don't think it is found in a lab.  So...I did my research and came up with a million websites that pointed me to extra virgin, cold-pressed, organic coconut oil.  Great!  I've got that in my pantry.  And after 4 doses and feeling like death for a week, I am wide awake, pain free and actually feeling better than I have in months.  I'm actually blogging!  And drinking wine!  Yay, coconut oil!!

And, I'm also in love with a new craft.......jewelry from aluminum cans.  I don't have any pix yet but I can't wait to post them next time.  AND, I think I'd like to start doing tutorials on my blog.  Can't wait to start.

In the meantime, I'm posting a few newbies.  Hope you enjoy!

Thanks to the miracle of magnet paint, I finally figured out how to make perpetual calendars!

The girls REALLY wanted to help make calendars, which I thought was a great idea.  That is until a little girl at the gallery pointed out there were a few dates missing.   Hmmmm......

Yes.....it is.

Newest dress painting.  This one is entirely made of paper.  Only the background is acrylic.
Have a lovely evening, friends.  Go out and get some coconut oil.  Apparently, it's the cure to all kinds of ailes.....not just mono!
