I've been doing such large paintings lately that I've started feeling a little burnt. I used to do l1 or 2 ittle paintings a day when I was doing smaller works. As much as I love the bigger ones I think I need my 'instant gratification' fix again! So I sat down yesterday and actually got 3 pieces finished and I had such a good time. I'm taking Janes texture class so I worked with some texture I haven't used before. I used plaster cast strips to make a tree on a little piece of poplar. Never in my life would I have ever thought of that. Fun, fun! She and Maureen give the greatest how-to's. If you've haven't checked the class out, I would highly recommend it.
Anyhoo..here's a few that I'm putting on etsy. Hope you all are having a wonderful weekend!

Beautiful, Kryssy! Thank you you dropping by my blog this morning! I made a move to the East Coast (Severna Park, MD), and am loving all of the beauty that surrounds me! I plan on visiting your sister's town soon! Love your recent pieces! Have a glorious day~ Missy
I want to take that class too! I love the new paintings. I have the same thing happened to me with big paintings. I don't do them to often now.
