Another Eve....

I loved doing 'The Deception' so much that I was actually sad when it sold (it's the pix at the top of the page). So....I decided to do another, only this time with just Eve. I'll be putting it on Etsy in a day or so. I added some neat crackling effect and some antiquing. I've been browsing the aisles at Michaels Arts and Crafts lately, looking for some new things to try. That, coupled with Janes 'Creative Textures' class is paying off, I think!

I also did a little angel with some delicate crackling as well. She'll be on Etsy tonight.

Quickie...

Just a quick post tonight. I painted another crucifixion after I gave the large one to my church. This one is close to 3 feet tall. I'm happy with how it turned out so I just put it up on etsy. Have a looksie!

Treats

I tried so hard to take a cute picture of me wearing my adorable new treats from Suz at Ah...Surprise Delight Joy. This is the best I could do! I hope you can see the sweet heart earrings and shamrock pin I have on. I just love them. If you have never visited her blog or bought from her etsy shop, I would highly recommend it.

Some Newbies

Hey all. Just a quick update to share some new paintings. Hope everyone is awesome! I've missed visiting blogs the last week or so. I'm hoping to catch up on my blog-chats soon!

We got a dog! He's a sweet as pie and we just love him. My cousin, who can't resist a poor stray, called me last week to ask if we would take in a dog that had been hanging around her house for 3 weeks. She has 2 dogs and 7 cats (all strays, I believe) so she couldn't exactly take on another. So we took him! We had no idea what we were getting into. I have to say that I've never seen a good-looking stray in all my years in Kentucky. But he is just gorgeous. He's amazingly gentle. He absolutely loves my girls and all he wants is to be loved and to play. What a gift from God he is for us. Oh, and he's only pooped on the carpet once....

And also....it's snowing outside! Third time this year here in Charlotte. How fun.
